Projects
BPS has several ongoing projects
as well as long range plans for building an engine house and section house.
Our winter project is coach 3236 which is undergoing a complete overhaul. Stop by and check it out.
Ongoing repair and restoration of the former Belfast & Moosehead Lake Railroad's Brooks Railroad Station.
BPS was fortunate to acquire this gem from the Belfast & Moosehead Lake Preservation
Society. This station has a long legacy, including being the assignment of
station agent Linwood Moody who would write
The Maine Two Footers.
Currently we are addressing several areas of decay, but the long term plan is a complete restoration of the station as it was around 1940.
